ESKISEHIR POLICE DEPARTMENT

Project name: “Material Development  for Preventing Drug Addiction ” Activity date: 01-04 September 2012
Place: Eskişehir/ TURKEY
Participants: 18–30 age from Programme Countries
3 participants from each organization.

OUR PROJECT AIM

- to determine the risk factors that cause mismatches with their community, bio-psycho-social status, education and gender to develop intervention methods for young people who tries to use drugs and other substances.
- to define measures of their individual and social welll-being with appropriate professional assistance.
- to arrange a workshop in order to develop applications related to issue of social policy which can be applicable in European Union members and candidate countries.
- to share good examples and learn different materials from different countries

PROJECT TARGETS

- to arrange a workshop about material development for drug addiction for universities, NGOs, governmental or non-governmental organizations, Youth Centers, Health, Security and Education Institutions from European Union Member of the 27 countries and programme countries
- to develop social policies containing suggestions for the specific issue with the active participation of young people at the end of the workshop

Activities:

Activity will be 3 nights in “Eskişehir”
- International Workshop
- Enjoyable Funs and Activities
- Visiting the Youth Centre, local authorities and related associations
- Brainstorming Activities about drug addiction
- City tour in Eskişehir

Methodology:

Brainstorming, group debates, peer to peer education, creativity games, visual learning activities and entertainment.
Financial conditions
The accommodation, travel expenses, food and visa for all participants will be covered in total by project budget. Please note the supposed cost of journey between your country and Nevşehir ( the most economic travel is by train and bus and cheapest travel by plain )
