The Point Information Youth (PIJ) is an association law 1901 which was created in May 1996. It makes party of the domestic network Information Youth which counts more than 1550 points reception in France with common practices and principles which found originality of the network with a quality; information conforms to its national charter.
Target groups: They will have between 13 and 17 years and will have to be elected or invested of a role of representativeness in the decisional authorities of their country. Young French, 9 , are representative of the young people of the department Allier. They all are elected by other young people to represent them and make hear their voice.
About our project:
-to bring together young active Europeans of the life citizen in order to draw up an inventory of fixtures of their role within the various authorities and to see how this right of representation of youth is translated into Europe.
- and to draw up one white paper with recommendations on the place given to the young people in the collective decision-making process.
To know, how to improve the consideration of their ideas, their active participation?
This go will be a true meeting place, of debate and reflexion of the European youth which dares to take initiatives via the democratic way.
- Which participation of the young people in the public decision?
- How does the dialogue with the adult elected officials occur?
A definition of young European citizen who will be able to make together hear the democratic way of European youth. Quite distinct and transverse objectives
We would like to do the project in Vichy France, from the 2. to the 9. April 2010.
